Elba Johnson
Owner & Director, Barkley Healthcare Group
Elba Johnson is the owner and director of Barkley Healthcare Group and has proudly served in the medical field for over 24 years. She began her career as a medical assistant and later earned her nursing license, building a strong foundation in patient-centered care.
Before opening Barkley Healthcare Group, Elba owned and operated an adult care home and assisted living facility, where she gained extensive experience caring for individuals with diverse medical and personal needs.
Driven by a lifelong passion for healthcare, Elba founded Barkley Healthcare Group with a mission rooted in integrity, compassion, and genuine connection. She is committed to listening to her patients, understanding their concerns, and delivering care built on respect, trust, and heart.
Alexandra Moon, ARNP
Autonomous Family & Esthetics Nurse Practitioner
Alexandra Moon is an Autonomous Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with over 10 years of experience in family, wellness, and esthetics medicine. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a proud member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Alexandra brings a strong background in family, pediatric, psychiatric, women’s health, hormone replacement therapy, and esthetics medicine. She previously practiced with Baptist and Westchester Hospitals in Miami, Florida, where she built a reputation for compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Known for her leadership, clinical expertise, and patient-centered approach, Alexandra is committed to helping her patients feel confident, healthy, and supported. She is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Italian.
George Martinez, RN
Registered Nurse
George Martinez is a Registered Nurse with five years of experience specializing in oncology and neuropathy care. He has previously worked in inpatient oncology, infusion centers, and clinical research.
Inspired by his mother, who was also a nurse, and his father’s medical journey, George found his calling in healthcare at a young age. He is passionate about helping patients manage pain, tingling, numbness, and circulatory issues.
At Barkley Healthcare Group, George is dedicated to improving each patient’s quality of life through compassionate, attentive, and personalized care.
Cristina Janette Puga Pérez
Medical Assistant
Cristina Janette Puga Pérez has been a valued member of the Barkley Healthcare Group team for over two years. She brings hands-on experience in patient care, medical assistance, and clinical support.
Cristina is known for her attention to detail, professionalism, and dedication to maintaining patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality. She is passionate about healthcare and is currently pursuing her nursing degree.
CayLeigh Whitten
Certified Medical Assistant
CayLeigh Whitten has been with Barkley Healthcare Group for two years and is a certified medical assistant currently pursuing her nursing degree.
She is passionate about patient care and enjoys building strong connections with patients while supporting them throughout their healthcare journey. CayLeigh is committed to continuing her education and growing in her nursing career.
